It's slightly worrying when a business advertises on yell.com but chooses to opt out of having reviews left by customers. Now, having experienced first hand on several occasions (before I got the message that it was all about the money for them) the operation of Beautec, I can see why Andrea the owner does not only have this facility removed from most of her advertisements but suggests to her students upon first meeting them that some people are bitter and just write nasty reviews or like to moan.

Out of all of the companies / institutes / academies that I have trained with over the years, Beautec, is sadly, the one that has been the most disappointing. The preparation prior to commencing training is poor, receipts and instructions generally fail to be issued even if booked well in advance. The fees, however, are always deducted from your account immediately. Once training is under way, very opinionated views are relayed and an ever so gentle pressure to either book follow-ups or purchase products directly from them - Poligel being one.

The usual spiel regarding after care and support to all students are conveyed with such determination that one feels they have new best friends. Don't get me wrong, whilst you are training and signing up to more courses you will be flavour of the month but once done - you are well and truly on your own.

You will be lucky to have any requests for support dealt with by the proprietor and the 'trainers' on staff may be professionals in their own right but are as useful as a chocolate teapot within the setting where the owner is superficially pleasant and distastefully wrathful dependent on who's company she is in. So, take heed, if you feel competent and confidant enough to get in, satisfy the requirement, grab your certificate (if it's ready) and head out, then all well and good. If however, you require a 'training company' that will be there IF you need them... just a phone call away for a gentle reminder of anything you may have forgotten or just words of encouragement if you are apprehensive about carrying out a treatment after your training........then PLEASE, think long and hard before booking with BEAUTEC.
