Situated at the top of a very steep, narrow lane, it offers breathtaking views over the Conwy Valley and across to Snowdonia. A friendly welcome awaits walkers with open fires in the lounge and dining room to warm you after a day on the hills.
The youth hostel has benefitted from a number of improvements in recent times, most recently in July 2011. Improvements include new washroom facilities and refurbished dining room and lounge. While electric heaters have been fitted in the washroom and bedrooms the popular open fires have been retained in the dining room and lounge. The kitchen is also much improved and provides all necessary equipment including three domestic gas cookers and three microwave ovens. Sleeping accommodation consists of a 2-bedded bunk room, a bedroom with four single beds, and two dormitories of six and eight beds.
