Emphasis provide high level HR advice to larger businesses on issues such as Employment Tribunal responses, managing disciplinary, redundancy, TUPE or grievance processes. We also help smaller companies who have no internal HR and need assistance getting the basics in place such as standard documents, contracts and staff handbooks.
Our overarching vision is to help business achieve competitive advantage through their people. We help businesses achieve this by training managers on how to deal with staff management issues, developing the team with skills such as; conflict management, mediation, leadership and management, interview and personal impact skills.
Often we are brought in to deal with situations which have been left to develop over time. A small problem left ignored often grows and festers to the point where it becomes all-consuming. The time spent dealing with the impact of the situation then far outweighs the benefits the individual brings to the business and employing them is no longer positive.
Through our experience of dealing with many different businesses we are able to step back and look at the people strategy as a whole and how they link to the goals and objectives of the business.
