I recently ordered my third birthday cake from Panari cakes. I had had a good experience with my previous two orders. This time around apparently I requested to collect from their warehouse and therefore had paid no delivery charge. When I received the confirmation email there was NO mention of it being a collection. In fact, the confirmation email had a "delivery address" as my home address and had "delivery date" as the date I needed the cake for. I checked the confirmation and did not realise I had made a mistake. Until that is, the day of the party - 2 hours before the party is due to start when I called them only to be informed of the error. I got obviously very upset and asked them if there was anything they could do about it. The answer was a resounding "no". I emailed to say to bin the cake as I could not pick it up, still there was no attempt at helping me. I then asked for a refund and was told they could give me back 10%. NO cake, full charge, no customer service.
