Sid's Taxis in Newcastle

My wife and I have used SID's taxis for over 20 years, but last night they hit rock bottom, as they refused to pick us up from the location we gave them in Newcastle, Tri Services & Veterans Support Centre in Hassell Street, and said they would only pick us up from the Bus Station, even though they dropped us off at the place we wanted to be collected from. My wife is semi disabled and uses a stick and is unable to walk for more than 50 yards and is waiting for an operation on her spine, and even when I told the operator this she insisted that we would have to get to the Bus Station, which with my wife's condition was impossible to do. If I said they are useless would be kind to them. I have given them 1 star because up until now they have been good and they do have cars. I would not recommend them to anyone ever again, and if you have any form of disability you would be left to your own devises if you could not get to where they want to pick you up from, no matter where you want to be picked up from. I think they have forgotten what they are in business for which is to give a service to there customers.
