My name is Julie, I am and have been a dog owner most of my life, and have also had cats and smaller pets. I am experienced in dog walking and will also be available for other dog, cat and small pet services. I promise to take the very best care of your pet and his / her needs. Before taking on any service, I will always meet with yourself and your pet/s, and discuss your needs and requirements. I was born into a family of pet lover's and have myself owned pet's for most of my life. It has been mainly dogs, but there have been a few cat's and smaller pet's along the way.
I currently only have one dog, a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Missey, she is coming up to 7 years old and loves the company of other dogs. In March 2014 we very sadly lost our 9yr old boy Staffy Boozer to a tumor, he was the older of the two and Missey had been with him since she was just 8 weeks old. Missey would like to have another dog or other dog's around, but due to work and other commitments, I am not quite ready to take on another dog.
We love getting out for long walks through the fields and along the beach. taking bus rides and walking home, we live in a community of dog owners and often meet up with other dogs, Missey enjoys the company and I love to see her running around, playing and socialising with her four legged friends.
My reasons for starting up a dog walking service are so that Missey can benefit from meeting up with other dogs, and because always being a dog owner and a single parent myself, I have had to juggle my life around both, always making sure my son and my pets are 100% cared for at all times. I have been lucky enough over the years to get help from family and close friends, we have helped each other to dog walk and pet sit, however sometimes I have had to miss appointments, change shifts at work or even take time off so that my dogs were never left for any length of time. Being a dog owner is one of the most satisfying and rewarding things in life we do, but at times I think most of us could do with a reliable, trustworthy, caring, animal loving and responsible friend who could walk your dog/s, feed, play with, fuss, or care for your pet/s while you are at work, or if an event or an unexpected emergency comes up that you have to be away for a day, or even overnight. I would definitely consider using a service like this if need be anytime in the future and hope that by offering these services to others, it may make life a little easier for you and your pets.
I am fully insured to carry out all of the above services and also have a current and up to date DBS.
