Shambles in Horndean, Waterlooville
Shambles
I advised the people whose house we were buying that Shambles would buy their furniture. I'd sold a few pieces to them In the past. Shambles told our seller they could only visit after they'd exchanged. They turned up a few days before we completed on the sale, identified pieces of furniture including leather chairs then told them they wouldn't offer any money but would take them for no fee. What a con. What a joke. I was mortified when the elderly couple told me what bad happened. Shambolic service...
I was in the shop a couple of days ago when the proprietor, who I have known and dealt with for some years, started ranting with negative and critical comments about British fatalities in Afghanistan and a cancer charity's fundraising efforts. When I `challenged' him on his comments he became abusive, said I was rude and told me to `F' off and get out of the shop, which I of course did. I won't be going there again.
