Wheatlands Grounds Maintenance in Yateley

A waste of money! Nick Jacobs, who I believe is the proprietor of Wheatlands Grounds Maintenance did three jobs for me and he bodged all three.

He turfed my lawn but it was still uneven with humps and hollows that make mowing difficult. He laid the turf sections round the patio a week or so later but were shoddily placed with gaps and differing levels to the adjacent turf. There are numerous bald patches where the grass was ripped and pushed into the soil by the roller of his mower as he swiveled it round. I complained at the time, but he said that it would level out and recover after a while. I twice emailed him, including photos, asking him to rectify it, but I got no response.

As well as my complaints about the lawn, I also had to dismantle and reassemble the pond waterfall he built because he had trapped the pump power cables in the soil so that they could not be connected. And even after two attempts he failed to lay a log edging in a neat curve, and this is despite being given precise drawings and the centre of the radius marked with a stake in the ground.
