On Sunday during term time, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School opens up its doors to young people from across the South West who want to be creative and learn theatrical skills in a fun, welcoming environment. Catering for children and young people aged 4-18 years, we offer weekly classes in both performance and production, taught by our students at the height of their professional training.
The workshops are split across four age groups: Upstage for ages 4 to 6, Downstage for ages 7 to 10, Stage Left for ages 11 to 14 and Stage Right for ages 15 to 18. Young Theatre Makers will start on Sunday 1 May and runs until Sunday 10 July. Partial bursaries are available - this will be assessed on application on a case-by-case basis.
