British Heart Foundation Shops in Bedminster, Bristol

I am complaining on behalf of a family member (who has learning difficulties) namely Jane Lewis, who lives alone in a first floor flat at Maidenhead Road, BS13 0TP. British Heart sent two men at 11am on 13.10.16 to collect a 2-seater settee in excellent condition, with fire safety label attached. They were TOTALLY incompetent, saying they could not get this settee down this one small flight of stairs and straight out of the front door. After a few pointless manoeuvres, i.e. moving it from the living room, en route to the staircase - damaging an electric light switch on the way - they decided to abandon the settee in the kitchen area! Jane is now left with no alternative but TO PAY for someone to remove this settee from the kitchen, DISPOSE of it for her, and replace the damaged light switch, She made many attempts to contact BHF but the phone was NEVER answered! As of Friday 14th October at 12. 05 pm, Jane's predicament remains the same. I am contemplating contacting Trading Standards about this matter. Signed: Eileen A Brown. 14.10.16 (p.p.
