Handyman Services in Ayr

I had a very bad experience with this individual. The job was to clean moss from my roof tiles and his price was based on a day rate irrespective of how many hours were involved (and this was an expensive rate!). However I decided to go ahead as I estimated the job would take a full day. He arrived at 9:00 am and got to work and I thought all is well. At 12:15 he told me he would take a break, again I thought this was fair. Unfortunately his break lasted one and a half hours as he returned at 1:45. At 2:30 he told me that he was finished for the day with the job 50% complete. He then asked for payment for his days work and that he would be back in 6 days time to finish the job. When I told him I would pay him when the job was finished he got annoyed, said he felt he had done a good shift and that I need to pay him and that he would not be finishing the job, I would need to find someone else. Lesson learnt, agree a price for the job up front and payment on completion. I would never consider recommending this guy to anyone.
