I feel as I was conned by PHC Service Centre. I was told on booking the "half price service" that the problem from my Hoover would be resolved however £107 later it was resolved.. Whilst my Hoover was in bits he decided to "talk prices" with me which obviously shocked me as I was told the problem would be resolved in the. £34.99 service. I was alone (woman) in the house with 2 small children and didn't feel I could refuse. Not a good experience I will also be checking the parts they charged me for are dyson!! I wouldn't use this company again!!
Ordered the service twice before with no problems.Last year the engineer came and done excellent job but this year it's a different story... We have used SpareSaver in 2010, our Kirby was sent off and serviced with no problem. On this occasion the PHC have turned up,without us knowing they are not a part of the SpareSaver and serviced the Kirby,but couldn't put the drive pedal back together. Well... They said that we need complete new drive,which come with a price of£150...Surprisingly the drive didn't need replacement, according to another engineer, but the Hoover was not put back together correctly, which resulted in a several hours of another service. Resulting of a charge of £50, which could have been avoided. Plus the service on the web side was advertised at £24.99 but we were forced to pay£39.99 for what?? Hassle and bit of a clean and a 1 spare belt and a bag. If I could of known, I would have done it myself. Very disappointed. Will not use PHC again! Will be contacting Trading Standards. The manager never got back to us, despite asking him to review the website. Do NOT use the service!!! You will be disappointed!
