Greg Smith Building Services Ltd in Whitstable

At last I have the correct plumbing in the shower room that Greg Smith’s son Richard did incorrectly! The original plumping made a noise like a trans Siberian train and became defunct after just 3 years. I now have a new tank and everything works with minimum noise and without a pump giving a superb flow of water in the shower and wash basin. I would have been happy to have gone down this route had Richard suggested this. However he didnt. The plumber I used today ( highly recommended ) couldn’t believe what Richard had done. ‘My apprentice wouldn’t even have done it like that.’ When I contacted Greg he just passed my e mail to Richard who responded in an indifferent manner and wanted to charge me £600 plus for a new pump and for an independent pipe ( he had teed a pipe off an existing pipe which made the pump over work and which was NOT in the pump manual). Today I have paid over £1, 000 to rectify shoddy work. I have confidence that unlike a pump it won’t break down in a few years. I would like to say that Greg’s work and his other sons’ work was excellent.
