Firestorm (Scotland) Ltd in Glasgow

Ought fireplace package from the Falkirk branch. 1st surround was rejected it was so bad. They put in an inset fire from showroom and didn't tell me until I queried it. They had 'lost' mine. 2nd surround was poor quality and finish was unacceptable, was told we were getting one especially brought over from Glasgow that was brand new when in reality what we got was the one that had been on display in the Falkirk shop, cleaned up. Only realised when I compared it to photo I had taken in their showroom. Manager couldn't have cared less, customer service skills abysmal. Replacement inset fire also faulty. Handed in an official letter of complaint but never received as much as a reply. Refund given for inset fire but refused for surround. Avoid at all costs. No choice but to go to trading standards now.

Recently purchased Riva2 500 gas fire from the Hillington Branch. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. The gas engineer, William Gibb, did an excellent job on the installation. I would highly recommend.
