LEIGH DOGS and CATS HOME in Leigh

Don't trust them! I took my four month old German shepherd there to be re-homed as my personal circumstances had changed. They charged me £65 even though I had emailed them earlier that day enquiring about charges to which they replied it would be £40! Anyway I handed my puppy over to them along with my £65 and thought no more of it! Well at least that's what I thought until six days after when I discovered that she was being advertised on gumtree for £400!!! To say I was shocked and upset is an understatement to discover that my once beloved puppy was no more than a mere money making racket. Leigh cats & dogs home are joke all they are interested in is making money on all their animals they don't care who they sell them on to and if I had known that this is how they operate their business there's absolutely no way that I would of handed my pup over to them. So all you nice people out there if you are thinking of re-homing a pet please please don't take them to this sanctuary...
