Nationwide Building Society Agency in Poulton-Le-Fylde

Been a customer for Many years.
Attended Garstang branch of nationwide 02/01/2015. Asked for a cheque to be made out for another bank account. Produced nw pass book and nw cash builder card and other bank card I/d. The assistant refused saying I needed primary ID despite the same female serving me on other occasions at this office. All she really needed to do was take a sample of my signature and check it against the invisible one they keep on the pass book. So a round trip of 20 miles for nothing. Remind me again whose money it is? I think this was a ridiculous way to treat a loyal customer. I intend removing all funds and going elsewhere.
