Derek Whylie came round to see us to quote for new windows&door in June & took 20% deposit (£1300), giving us an installation date of 24/08/2015.The fitters did not arrive. We have had no communication since & our own research with Silke & Co Solvency specialist has shown that the day after Derek came & took our money the company went into LIQUIDATION. We are disgusted as he obviously knew when he took our money that he would not be able to fulfill promises he made. PLEASE AVOID. We will not get money back :(
***** AUGUST 2016 ******* Just to update....we finally got our deposit back this month through a series of negotiation and finally taking Derek to County Court. It has taken a year of promises and let downs, then the court system to finally resolve this. I told Derek when I got deposit back I would update review so now I have. I would still say AVOID!! Not worth all the stress!!************
