Reliant Direct in Blackpool
I chose this company due to prices offered and cashback given. I ordered a 65" TV and requested a Saturday delivery, paid for the goods and waited. On Thursday I was notified they couldn't do Saturday deliveries so, as I had no holiday left at work, cancelled the order. They asked me not to if they would deliver Saturday after all so my husband took the day off work and waited...the tv never arrived and when I called them they said there was an error and they had cancelled the order but promised it would be there the following Saturday. The next Saturday I waited and then got a call to say it wouldn't be coming after all as they had lost it!I Therefore cancelled the order.We were just about to go out that evening and the courier arrived with it in a very battered box saying Reliant Direct had cancelled the order twice so the goods had been on and off the van. We accepted delivery but I have today been told that my cashback entitlement of £41 has been declined by the retailer. I emailed them to find out why and they said 'it was a special price so they wouldn't honour it'. Nowhere was it mentioned on any site that this would be the case, in fact Nigel O'Hara was offering the same TV for less.So after wasting 2 days of my time and causing me extreme stress and hassle, they have now ripped me off as well. I have never taken the time to write an online review before but in this case of exceptionally bad service, felt compelled to do so. Please, please, please avoid this company and save yourself the hassle I have experienced.
