M L Cycles in Wigan

About 3 years ago I put a deposit down on a mountain bike I could not afford to pay the £150 Mike Lawrence wanted for it all at once so because I had put down half the cost he said he would keep it for me as £10 secures any bike or so the notice window says and seeing as I had paid him £75 I was well pleased as the bike was exactly what I had wanted but after calling at his shop a number of times I was told he had taken it home his mechanic said he wanted to do some jobs on it for me which was a bit strange saying he runs a bike shop. The truth finally emerged a couple of days later when I was told by Mike Lawrence himself that he had sold it to some one else for £50 more!! In other words BEWARE if you ever deal with ML cycles.
