L & M Van Sales in Manchester
L & M Van Sales
Do not trust these people. Not only will they sell you a duff vehicle, they will steal it back.
I purchase a van in August 2014 shortly after it become apparent that there where major faults. Head Gasket, Wheel Bearing, Gear Box, Clutch. This was confirmed by a vehicle examiner.
After weeks of letters, phone calls, emails and visits L&M agreed to do the work. They collected the van, a 2006 Nissan and had it for 2 weeks. I collected the van and took it back to the examiner who said with the exception of the wheel bearings nothing has been touched.
Several more emails and letters where sent and all of them ignored. I took the van to a garage and paid a lot of money to have the repairs done.
The garage bill along with the 2 examiners reports where mailed to L&M and no one bothered to reply.
I submitted county court proceedings on Friday 21/11/2014, on Wednesday 26/11/2014, one of the staff from L&M can be seen on CCTV on my car park. On 26/11/2014 at 16:20 someone walked up to the van with a key and drove off in it. All caught on CCTV.
Be warned. These people will sell you a van knowing there are major faults, then cheat, lie and ultimately steel from you.
