Cornerhouse in Manchester
Cornerhouse
This is one of my go to places when I'm in Manchester. Fantastic weekday brunch, my coffee was lovely and I had a delicious croque madame. They gave me a pint of tap water no problem. They use the Manchester free wifi network, so wifi works like a charm and is free. Lovely environment and decor, a great place to chill out and relax. Recommended
Food good but not great, was left a bit disappointed by my menu. Still, it's a good place if you are into design, movies and culture in general. It includes the cafe and a restaurant, cinemas and galleries. Perfect for a chilled afternoon. I especially like the book store and its varied selection of books. The gallery offers some of the best art exhibitions I've ever been to, with great participation from the audience and interaction with the artists. Cinema opens at 12pm, you can watch some really niche films that you can't normally find in theaters... Despite the food which could be better I am still a great fan of Cornerhouse and I would recommend it.
Great place for a chat or even a business meeting. Coffee and beer are great, and I also like the food. The "reel deal" is just great, for £15 you get a choice of pizza, a drink and a ticket to your favourite film! Waiters are very caring and attentive. A nice, cosy place, would definitely recommend the Cornerhouse.
