Grahams Toiletries in Royton, Oldham

I bought an item from Grahams Toiletries and when I looked at the receipt later at home, I had been charged an additional £2 on top of the priced up label. I returned and showed the assistant my purchase and the price tag underneath it on the shelves. He said it had been put in the wrong place but refused to give me the £2 difference to which I was entitled under consumer rights. When I insisted, he went off to speak with the manager who confirmed that I couldn't have the price difference, only a refund. This shop is clearly unaware that when a customer is charged more for a product than the advertised price, they are entitled to be refunded the price difference. I suggest that Grahams check with their legal advisors so that they honour consumer rights in the future. I was not impressed.
