Very helpful. I have been for wood and other bits and they always tell me if they have a cheaper way I could do things. Been going there for years. Need help sometimes being a woman.

New owners seem to have cleaned the place up a lot. The staff are very helpful, some of the prices have gone up over the last three years, but you get a greater choice of similar items to suit different budgets.

The staff even try to save you money by explaining how you can make things rather than buying them. I bought some wood to make a gate which cost nearly half the price of a gate I went in the shop to buy. The shop opens on a Monday these days and there are a lot more things to choose from.

They are now selling a small selection of paint and tools.

Very good for getting your bits and pieces from starting to go upmarket with kitchens, but be careful when buying the same type of item, the prices start to creep up over a period.
