Willow Farm Kennels in Billinghay, Lincoln
Willow Farm Kennels
Can't quite make out which business these people operate!! Dog Breeders? Boarding Kennels? Cat Breeders? Now Cattery Kennels...Anything going it would seem for a quick quid!!
All I know is that you should stay well away and never purchase any animal from these people!
My Puppy originates from a Puppy Farmer in Carmarthenshire, Wales. She was purchased from there by another 'Pet Shop' in Ceredigion and these horrid humans at Willow Farm Kennels purchased her from there for their 'Pet Shop' in Lincolnshire. Yes I know, it's difficult to keep up. The Phillips' will tell you that their puppies are vaccinated against Parvo Virus whilst with the Breeder. Funnily enough I have been assured by the Breeder in Carmarthenshire that this is not the case. Also there is no proof of vaccination to back this! My puppy was harbouring this deadly disease on purchase from WFK and has cost in excess of £700 vet fees. As you've guessed it, the puppy loving Phillips' are not willing to pay the full amount they are liable for as they wanted us to travel a 3hour drive to their establishment with our fatally ill pup to comply with their T&C's (for what they're worth).
If you have the time and interest in further instances regarding this business then please visit C.A.R.I.A.D.'s Facebook Page or better still google their website where you will see numerous stories of customers of this establishment with horrifying stories of ill puppies, some of which did in fact die soon after purchase.
C.A.R.I.A.D. Care And Respect Includes All Dogs (the campaign to end puppy farming) are well worth contacting if you, like me have had bad experiences with these people.
There is one good thing to come from this place and that's closure!
Please don't consider purchasing from this hell hole, instead do your homework. Google WFK and read the never ending bad reviews.
They will tell you that they are licensed Breeders. Yes they have a recently obtained Breeders License but this is purely to assist them when advertising online. Don't be fooled...they know every trick of the trade!!
We bought a Beagle at 12 weeks old.
We didn't realize what the place was until after we had paid a deposit and then I called the owner and asked for deposit back... he denied this and refused deposit!
Our beagle has suffered meningitis and luckily recovered after lots of visits to the vets, medication and expense! The symptoms are returning! I've been told this is normally breed out of dogs when purchased from good breeders.
I love my dog to bits but if i knew what I did now I would not of purchased a dog from that place and would not recommend that anyone does!
