Having worked as a china restorer for 30 years, Stephanie Scott is able to replace missing areas, mend breaks and clean all types of ceramic. Most items can be invisibly restored and she is happy to look at any piece needing restoration to give advice and an estimate for repair. Now based at Young Antiques, in Edinburgh she is available (my appointment only) on a Thursday morning. Her restoration studio is in East Lothian, where she also sees customers, again by appointment only.
