Hazel's Happy Hounds in Gorebridge
Hazel's Happy Hounds
They have no control of their dogs at all and have no respect for other walkers or horse riders. We were riding in the field today wearing hi viz vests and one dog appeared out of nowhere in the long grass. The horses became very stressed and shot into the crop where there were another 4 dogs coming through towards them. The horses bolted my mum who is over 60 came off with force and both horses took off down the field.I managed to stay on thankfully and pull my horse up but the other one went on to the road where luckily there was a lady from the yard passing and managed to catch him. My mum was thankfully ok but has a very sore back and had trouble walking. The people who were in charge of the dogs ran off and didn't even check if she was ok. The owner of the yard spoke to her and she had no care at all and was very rude. We have reported her to the police Which has been done in the past. I've heard of a few similar cases from other riders one of which where one of the dogs tried to jump on the horse when the rider was on. She was charged for this. Another case was when all 12 dogs came out of the long grass barking at the rider and horse, thankfully the horse just froze. Whenever someone tells her that this isn't on she gets very gobby with them and swears at them. Very rude woman indeed!
