Corwell is an independent business situated in Reading, Berkshire and operated by furniture makers Simon Corbyn and Les Newell. Established in the year 1989, Corwell has now turned into a full-fledged furniture making company that designs and constructs bespoke pieces. We work for various kinds of customers, including those from the domestic market, architects, designers, corporate and business clients.
All of our raw materials are obtained from local and indigenous sources. We use a plethora of timber species for making furniture, such as ash, English oak, elm, sweet chestnut, walnut, mahogany, maple, cherry and yew. In order to avoid wastage, we always try to use up every wood scrap that remains from our projects. We provide antique furniture restoration services as well.
