The Kings Arms Chinese and Thai Restaurant in South Walsham, Norwich

We ordered a takeaway on New Years Eve. We were quoted an hour for our food which we expected on this evening. We received a phone call to say they had no Thai fishcakes and would a substitute of prawn toast be ok, which we reluctantly accepted.
An hour later we received a phone call from the delivery driver to advise her car had broken down and she was halfway to us - could we go and collect?! We advised that we were unable to do this and the driver was rather rude to us and said she was the only driver out (on NYE !!) and there was nothing she could do. Asked for a callback from the shop which we never received. We then had a continuous banging on the door and it was the driver! Apparently WE were lucky that her car had started! We accepted the food and she left. I then called the shop as nobody called us back and left a message for the manager to call me. The manager called back and it was the driver who delivered the food! She did not seem to accept our complaint, did not apologise until prompted and made no offer of compensation. The attitude of this shop stinks and the food tasted disgusting. Would never use again and wouldn't advise others to use them either - however hungry you are!
