Norwich Register Office - Births, Deaths, Marriages & Civil Partnerships & Copies of Certs in Norwich

I was calling 01603 767600 with respect to a copy of a death certificate, and as I answered that I 'have internet access', was advised to order it on the web site. This is all very well but I was not advised that I could not order a certificate online, post 1957.
After calling 01603 767600 again to speak to a person I had to select 'No access to the internet' option, I was then offered other options to select which person I wished to be directed to, Pre 2011 or post 2011. There was no-one available to take my call at approx 14:40 - 21/7/17 after selecting Pre 2011, I then had to listen to some speel about ceremonies booked or to be paid for, nothing to do with death certificates so I leave a message for somebody to call me back.

I also tried 0344 8008020 got all the way to Pre 2011 to be told that all operators were busy and advised the opening times, and to call again. What a terrible waste of time and resources. So inefficient.
