Allan Robertson & Son in Scone, Perth

I thought Allan Robertson rather expensive, and I had to wait quite a few weeks before they were able to start a fairly routine roof repair job (although it did require scaffolding). However, they turned up when they said they would, they seem to have done a good job, they cleaned up afterwards, and I feel reasonably confident that if there are any problems with the work, they'll come back and fix them. None of which should be a big ask from any tradesperson, but if you've ever needed a roofer/slater, you'll know that these basic requirements are lacking in many members of the trade. I haven't found anyone better in the Perth area, but I've had several who were worse!
In summary, I'd recommend this long-established company, provided you're not in too much of a hurry and have deep pockets.

I had these chaps in to render an extension. Whilst the rendering was good, they left a terrible mess, my windows were left smeared with concrete, my brand new outside steps were covered with lumps of cement, they had emptied the cement mixer each day onto my lawn etc... I asked them to return & tidy up & they got pretty nasty. My steps are ruined & I spent a whole day tidying up their mess which they were suppost to tidy up!
