Brian Dulson in Shrewsbury

I found Mr Dulson to be very unprofessional and lacking the patience and aptitude to be a driving instructor. It amazes me that he gets custom. He seemed too concerned about running his past learners down and the condition of his truck than he was on my lesson. He was initially okay but as time went on he started raising his voice, he became inpatient, rude and showing a complete lack of respect to me.

Any mistakes I made were because of his attitude. I did read a bad review on him before I booked lessons with him. But I decided to give him a shot....that was a mistake! If you don't pick the driving up as quick as he likes he doesn't like it and he is very controlling. I ended up canceling the rest if my lessons with him and went with another Hgv trainer and I did very well indeed and passed my class 2, as the instructor was patient and respectful.

Overall - very poor. Would not recommend!

I had lessons with Brian Dulson and his son Steve after having them recommended to me by friends. I had absolutely no experience of driving a trailer before my lessons and was put completely at ease by their relaxed, friendly and positive manner.

They were nothing but professional and supportive at all times and I passed my test first time and in half the time that I thought it would take! They went out of there way to ensure that I was comfortable with the movements, procedures and test routes before my test, and every single lesson was well planned and tailored to my individual needs.

I booked my trailer towing tuition with Dulson based on personal recommendation from several friends. I found them to be really patient and professional. I completely lacked confidence in the beginning, but with their expert tuition and knowledge, they taught me the skills I needed to pass the test first time!
