Sheds Now in Telford

Have just read Dannie J. S review above and it exactly mirrors my experience of the company. My wife and I went to their premises in Telford and spent an hour with Mr. S. Clear discussing the design and construction of a large (28 x 12 foot) workshop. A week before he was due to install the building he rang to say the building was ready but admitted he had made a couple of mistakes in the design and would correct them before delivery. To cut a long story short he behaved exactly as Dannie describes. Very nice while we were ordering but incredibly rude on the day of installation. Then we found the errors, the floor wasnt as strong as it was supposed to be and bounced when the machinery was installed. Rainwater came in onto the floor because he hadnt overlapped the side panels properly. The roof now leaks in about 6 places through the seams and to complicate things even more we have found that the roof trusses do not support the roof correctly so may make it difficult to fit a decent roof covering. I have already had to spend over £300 to strengthen the floor, and this is on a building which cost over £3, 000. I have rung Sheds Now several times but you always get the same rude denial of anything being wrong and he says that because I laid the extra plywood flooring I have cancelled the warranty !! He also has a habit of disconnecting the call before you can discuss anything. I am seeing a solicitor this week and taking the company to court. Do not touch this company or Mr. Clear with a a bargepole.

At the end of last summer we bought a pent shed from Sheds Now and they came and fitted it. The chap was very nice when i paid the deposit but when they came to fit it he was really off with us and didn't really want to be there. None the less, all was done and fitted however 4 months later we noticed that one of the seams on the roof was leaking into the shed. So we gave him a ring and what we got was nasty argumentative back chat. That was three months ago now and dispite a number of phone calls he just is not interested in upholding his one year guarantee. So i have had to re roof the shed properly myself. So if you want a dry shed and one year manufacturers guarantee Sheds Now is not for you.
