Baru School Wear in Kirkintilloch, Glasgow

I am very very disappointed with the service I received from Baru. I bought a school jacket for my daughter. The first time I washed it, it fell apart. I took it back to Baru expecting an exchange for a defective item, but was told that the reason the waterproof lining was falling off was because it had been hung against a radiator and that they would send it back to the supplier to be 'examined'.

I questioned this saying that the jacket hadn't been hung against a radiator and that my contract was with Baru and not the supplier, and as the item was faulty I should get a replacement. The manager was very unpleasant and rude to me and it became clear I was wasting my time trying to rationalise with him. I am taking this up with citizens advise and trading standards and hope to get a resolution this way.
