Seoul Kimchi in Manchester

We went last friday and we absolutely loved this place! Not the kind of place for big celebretions, quite the contrary. Very small with a friendly and intimate environment. My gyoza were excellent, and so was the bulgogi, mmmm... The main dishes came with lots of smaller plates of pickles, very nice. Recommended.

Was visiting my sister and we decided to dine out. Since I love Korean food, she brought me to Seoul Kimchi. What a pleasant surprise! The place is super small, there are about 4 tables and 3 breakfast bars, for a total of 15 max. 20 seats. It almost feels like being part of a small korean family, very authentic atmosphere. Everything was cooked and prepared right in front of us. My beef bulgogi was absolutely delicious, mushrooms were very fresh and beef was very tender and cooked to perfection. The bowl of rice was very generous, and the miso soup was really delicate and relaxing.. Overall, very intimate place, offering great value for money. Thouroghly recommended.

Went to this little korean restaurant in upper brook street on a friend's recommendation. I work in the area but frankly I had never noted this unassuming, almost elusive place. I am so glad I finally discovered it, the food is fantastic! Very small place, minimalist decor, this little gem let its spectacular food speak for itself. The varied menu offers plenty of choice, with fish, meat or vegetarian dishes. The kimchi is a must try! At only 50p a piece, the sushi is a steal! My partner had teriyaki tofu which was delicious. Really good place if you want to experience some genuine korean cuisine in a calm and intimate atmosphere.

A tiny little treasure for those who can find it! Fresh, delicious korean food at its best. The food was perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Unfortunately being so small it can only seat a few diners at a time, but you can also get things to take away if you want. Still, I'd recommend trying the real Seoul Kimchi experience and eat at the dining space. I will certainly go back.
