I was today appalled and disgusted at the level of service and customer care of manager Simon Holling. After taking my mum for an early mothers day meal we stopped at the gift display on our way out where a large and very heavy picture fell off the wall with the corner of it, crashing into my mum's head causing her to feel sick, very dizzy and understandably give her a nasty headache.
The manager after coming over and insinuating that a picture can not fall by itself as if we had done something to cause the accident then became uninterested and disappeared. There was no apology, nor did he seem interested in the fact that my mum was hurt and the accident could have been much worse. When tackled about his behavior he stated that he had tried to talk to her and "it was like talking to a brick wall" - I presume he means when my poor mum felt sick and unsteady and needed to sit down!
He also stated that his main concern was his customers in the dining area. What can you say to someone who feels that money is so much more important than someones welfare and a couple of minutes of their time when a customer is hurt in their establishment.
