PAM'S FASHIONS in Irvine
PAM'S FASHIONS
I ventured into the store with my Sister and young daughter. I needed an item of clothing altered. I walked in and was completed ignored for some time and left to wait at the desk. I looked from person to person but no response. I should have just walked back out then.
A young woman with dark hair and glasses standing at the counter, just staring at me, as I approached to speak to her, she then walked away. I said out loud, "who works here?" The reply came back, "yeah yeah I'll be with you in a minute". Not following my instincts and just leaving we waited to see just how appalling the woman was going to be.
Anyway long story short, alterations began abruptly so we decided to secretly start filming her on a phone and so so glad we did. She was harsh, rude and not at all gentle while handling pins and I was nipped a few times and not surprisingly got no apology! The following visit for a fitting was even worse so we complained explaining as nicely as we could why we were taking our business elsewhere and the woman retaliated with verbal abuse in front of our young daughter. Neither will any of my friends & family EVER give this store our business and would discourage anyone from shopping here. Investigations into this store are still ongoing. Please take your custom elsewhere especially if your walking in with young children! There are a few different tailors/seamstresses in the Irvine area, all of whom have proved very forthcoming, polite and courteous. What happened to good old fashioned customer service?
