I chose Peter due to his good credentials and qualifications. However I would not recommend him as a tuner due to my experience with him.
I bought a Yamaha U1 made in 2008, the piano was in perfect condition and was tuned on delivery, 6 months later it needed tuning (Autumn and higher humidity) so I gave Peter a call.
He came round and did the first tuning, three weeks later it was out again. So he came round a second time, and then a third. Three tunings over 6 months and I'd had enough. Next I called a different tuner who came round, one tuning and some voicing on the hammers and the piano was fine for another 6 months. I'm not an expert in pianos but this experience left me feeling distrusting.
Despite a good resume of skills Peter tuned my piano, and three weeks later it needed tuning again. It was a high quality Yamaha U1, four years old with no issues before.
I had three tunings in 6 months after which I found a new tuner who voiced the piano better and voila, the tuning held for 6 months.
I don't trust him.
