Very disappointed with their Shower screens. We had problems with the hinge slipping almost immediately, and after asking our builder to re-fit it, the problem persisted. Unfortunately I didn't flag this with Acia/Foriver until the screen was unusable and didn't open close anymore. This was 2 years after purchase. I've been emailing and phoning them for 2 months. According to the company, the hinge slippage was a "design fault" and they now had a newer model which had rectified the problem. Only problem was, the lifetime guarantee didn't include replacement of the faulty "old style" screens. The best result was 2 weeks ago being sent a new set of hinges and seals as the old were destroyed by the damage the slippage caused. Unfortunately, the seals were for a different screen, and the hinges had the same fault as before, rendering the screen useless once again. 10 phone calls and many emails later, I am still no closer to rectifying the problem with Acia/Foriver as they are refusing to deal with the faulty product, despite admitting the known design flaw. We now have little other choice but to uninstall it, retile the area and fit a different brand screen. Very disappointing, and would advise you to keep away from Acia Bathrooms / Foriver Sanitary and their "Life time Warantee" products until they address their aftersales and customer care issues. Shame as their products otherwise look quite good!
