My house was damp and filthy when we arrived home, despite the cat litter trays having been cleaned there was used cat litter scattered across the lounge floor, the same in the porch, the dogs room had obviously been wet at some stage and the dog beds had sat in water which they had absorbed from the base, one of the £45 beds had been chewed/destroyed, which you failed to mention and which came as a surprise to me as my dogs, in normal circumstances, are not destructive. I have been advised from friends that visited, you were very rarely at my home, though the dogs were, and those that use the park where you were meant to be exercising my fit and active dogs report that for the most part you were observed standing in the middle of the recreation field feeding the dogs treats, they needed exercise and mental stimulation from a proper walk. There were 2 piles of cat vomit in the outside cattery that were not fresh.

Water had been spilt and left in the kitten pen, leaving a wet bed for the kittens and a large black water mark on the parquet flooring underneath. I went to the cupboard under the sink to get a cloth to start clearing up only to find that all the cloths were saturated, this led me to empty the cupboard believing there was a leak, however, there was no leak so I can only assume that you had put sopping wet cloths in the cupboard? The kickboards in my brand new kitchen have absorbed water and swollen. Due to the excessive dampness in the house, the door to our lounge has swelled.

The bedroom that you stayed in was my daughters, this was also damp and has marks on the carpet, this caused her some distress. There was a foul stench in the garage, on quick examination I located the cause which was 3 rolls of meat that had been dropped behind one of the freezers, these had become a mass of maggots, I cannot believe that you failed to notice what must have been a garage full of bluebottles or the smell.

One of my dogs is a show dog, his coat has been grown since he was a pup, I pay show groomers to scissor him and had certainly not asked you to take a pair of scissors to his top knot, that has put an end to me showing him for at least 6 months.

Despite me specifically warning you that a fox was visiting, you failed to put my poultry away, resulting in the loss of my 4 Indian Runner Ducks.

At no time have I received an explanation, far less an apology, in fact you have ignored all my recent attempts to contact you for insurance details (that I am now seriously doubting you have). I paid you in full for the service you provided. This was the 1st time in over 10 years I had been on a proper holiday with my family, you have blighted all the memories of this trip and left me with damage to my animals and property.
