Carcraft Service Centre Leeds/Bradford in Morley, Leeds
Carcraft Service Centre Leeds/Bradford
Great massive well lit show room. Luckily had done my homework on various cars I was interested in, this place is very expensive, typically at least £1000-£1500 more expensive per car on the ones I was interested in compared to other garages/dealerships.
Upon walking through doors immediately pounced on by sales staff who insist you sit down to discuss your requirements and waste at least 10-15 minutes of your time despite repeatedly telling them I wanted to look around as still unsure which car I wanted. I eventually got fed up of the small talk (rapport building)?! And just got up and started looking around (left Hubby sat with sales person). Hubby eventually managed to break free but sales guy insisted on walking around with us as apparently wanted to show us the layout of showroom! Just could not shake him off, border line rude. At least four to five times we told him to leave us be, we were then forced to keep walking away from him as he would not listen! Each time we managed to escape from him, within 5 minutes he was back asking how we were getting on.... Argghhhhhh! We informed him of a car we were hoping to look at, surprisingly he told us they had none, surprise surprise we found one at the back (Nissan Juke) he sheepishly responded by saying 'oh is it still here'! The sales pressure was beyond belief, he even got his manager to come & pressure us to buy a car off them. Great, now we were trying to shake two off them off! Hubby informed him of the car we had decided to go for & the fact that they were selling that car for a few grand more (thank god for iPhones and knowledge at your fingertips). Sales guy immediately responded by saying he could knock a couple of grand off! We were after a different colour to the one in showroom, he said they had in stock... down south near London. Asked him to write spec down & price he had quoted, he pretty much point blank refused to do so & started humming and haaing about whether car would be for sale as would need to pass all its checks before they would put up for sale. As Hubby then pursued him for answers about what he meant & just to jot down the model/make and mileage of car that he had mentioned, salesperson became increasingly sheepish (and pinker in tone) and just refused and walked away from us! Now hubby was following him! The chap was just dam right rude and gave us lots of bulls@** information. Never again, will steer well clear especially after reading the other poor gentlemens appalling experience after purchasing two cars from Carcraft Service Centre!
