We were told that the house would be cleared up before we moved in, with the light bulbs replaced and the broken blind fixed. They weren't.

They pushed us to pay for 6 months rent up front, before we'd even seen or signed the tenancy agreement, playing on the fact we were in a stressful life situation at that moment, saying we have to act fast etc. We heard a similar story from the flat above, and they refuse to do anything about illegal drug use in the flat above her or noise levels.

We were told that residential parking was "definitely available". It wasn't and so we have to now pay £25 a week for a parking space a mile away, as opposed to £90 per year. This is even after phoning them multiple times, saying we were lied to (no apology from them) and phoning the council about our situation (no flexibility from them either).

They take forever to fix any problem with the flat and refused to do anything about the mould caused by a flood prior to moving.
