Before becoming a Kumon Instructor, I'd had a career in education for 15 years, building my experience across schools in London and Hertfordshire. I have been a Headteacher and have significant experience working with the local authority to support schools with maths, English and assessment procedures.
During my Headship, I saw first-hand the results, attitudes and progress of those children in the school who had attended Kumon. Through my own research, I discovered that this method of learning offered so much more than traditional private tuition. I saw the impact of how it nurtures strong self-learning skills. Kumon complements the school curriculum and ensures every child’s learning is tailored to their individual needs while also setting high expectations of each student based on stretching their own ability. I was so impressed, I decided to train to become a Kumon Instructor and open my own Kumon Study Centre!
As a trained Kumon Instructor, I aim to provide all children and young people with every opportunity to succeed by developing their academic and personal skills. I passionately believe that all children can grow, achieve and be anything they want. I firmly believe every child needs a champion, and I aim to champion my students to reach their fullest potential.
