Gavin Cridlin Tilers in Taunton

A bullying cowboy that ruined thousands of pounds of labour and materials on a brand new bathroom. We've been left with a space that's completely unusable with tiles falling off the walls and shifting underfoot. Several floor tiles have cracked due to being laid unevenly. The guy has clearly never met a spirit level and despite his reported years of experience the work is a horror show even an apprentice would be ashamed of. Uneven cuts and a complete failure to plan the lay out of tiles across the wall has left us with a shower alcove thats impossible to seal. His attitude? Whack sealant on it a least an inch wide and it'll be fine. Whilst on the job he failed to turn up for the first four day's. Promising that he'd be there the next day before coming up with excuses again in the morning. This delayed our plumber (also astounded at the work and the unreliability) by several days. Costing us extra as he'd travelled down to Newquay specifically for the job. He pressured my finance into providing cash as he was leaving each day (always early). After admitting he'd done substandard work (recording on its way to trading standards as we speak) and agreeing to provide a refund Gav has now ghosted us without repayment. The tiler who we've got in to fix the job has said we'll have to start from scratch again, going back to bare boards. A nightmare experience. This man should never ever be allowed to cost anyone else their hard earned cash or cause them so much distress throughout the process.

Unfortunately the tiles that Gavin Cridlin fitted cracked within one week; he agreed to replace them but kept failing to turn up at the agreed time and 5 months later the tiles are still not fixed.
