A S Mylestone in Hyde

I paid £3500 in December 2020 for 2 rooms to have plaster removed to 1m. An injection damp course and plastic membrane fitted and then the walls re plastered. I contacted the company in August 2021 as the damp was actually far worse than before they did the work. I was told the company has effectively ceased trading and the company with whom the guarantee was supposedly covered had also ceased trading (before the guarantee was issued).
I had 2 companies look at the damp and the job that had been done and (after removing part of the plaster) both said that they had never seen what was supposedly a plastic damp proof membrane. It had actually looked like a bit of old carpet. I had to pay another £3500 to have the work re done. I've selected a 1 star rating as I couldn't choose none.
