The Crock Ltd is a family owned cookware shop that has been operating from Stow on the Wold Cotswolds for 20 years.
In 2007 the shop underwent a £1 million refit. The shop has 3 floors covering everything from hardware to bathroom accessories to gardening to kitchen accessories.
In November 2011 the company expanded again, and is now an authorised AGA Cookshop stockist with a dedicated showroom.
We always go to the Crock when we need something for the kitchen, they have three floors of household items, basement for garden and ironmongery, including paint and household repair items. Main floor has everything you could wish for for a fully stocked kitchen, from Klip it boxes or Lock and Lock boxes for food storage, to cake decorating equipment, glasses, storage jars of all shapes and sizes, crockery to buy separately, so if you break a plate, dish, cup or saucer, pop in the Crock and replace it, all types of serving items, individual butter dishes, pie dishes, kidney shaped side salad dishes, cups, mugs, Portmerion, Emma Bridgewater, Pyrex, and many many more.
The kitchen knife section is fantastic, from Robert Welch knife block and knives, to knives to individually purchase and make up your own knife set, along with knife blocks to store them in, Robert Welch cutlery sets, kitchen ware, the best selection outside of the Robert Welch store in Buford.
Roasting tins of every size, baking tins too, whisks of every size, spatulas, jar scrapers, silicon spoons and utensils in a range of bright colours to brighten your kitchen and make cooking fun. Timers, meat thermometer, scales, saucepans, sets or individual, Joseph Joseph range of kitchen ware, in their distinctive colours, trays for every occasion, worktop savers, chopping boards, sives. strainers, food storage bags, potato, vegetable and bread, anything to keep food fresh for longer, The Crock has it.
Professional roasting pans, skillets, all the top Chef's ranges, all types of knives, cast iron ware, lovely tea towels, depicting the Cotswolds villages, Country animals and much more, tea lights, candles, worktop savers, with stylish designs or quirky jokey prints, tea towels and trays to match.
Everything for the AGA owner, pots, pans, kettles, you name it the Crock has it, along with electrical goods, kettles, toasters, electric whisks, food processors, carving knives, plate warmers.
Oven cloths, kitchen towels, (cotton), storage tins, everything for the home and professional baker and cake decorator, cake support pillars, icing tools, piping bags, Jam makers pans, thermometers, jam jars with kids and the paper covers, jar labels, Kilner products, funnels of every size, conical sieves, flower sieves, flower dredgers, sugar shakers, egg cups, chocolate moulds, silicon moulds and cooking sheets, cooling racks.
A range of tapestry items, wall hangings, table runners and bell pulls, shoulder and handbags, coasters, table mats, cushion covers.
On the upper floor, household items, wicker and raffia baskets, shopping and storage, glass and wooden bowls, for fruit and decorative purposes, all manner of cleaning items, laundry items, washing lines and airers, waste bins for the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and lounge, door mats, storage boxes for large items, there are not many things you can't get at The Crock.
We visit at least once a month, more if we g into Stow-on-the-Wold, its an Aladdin's cave of kitchenware homeware and much much more, well worth a visit, you will always find something you want at the Crock, a shop full of useful items, at very reasonable prices and such pleasant staff too, Don't take my word for it, go visit, see for yourself, its a jewel in the crown of Stow-on-the-Wold.
