Loxley Silver Band is a long established organisation offering brass band services to both public and private clients throughout the local area. The organisation, which is located in Loxley (Sheffield), was established in 1889 and has many years experience. Loxley Silver Band have a varied and extensive library of music and are well known within the local community, they rehearse on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:45pm to 9:30pm in Stanwood Methodist Church. As well as having a senior band that rehearses twice a week, Loxley has a thriving training band that rehearse on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm; new members are always welcome for the main band or training band (some instruments may be available to loan), including those who would like the opportunity to restart. With a longstanding core of friendly band members, Loxley Silver Band has a significant number of expericnced players, but also encourages new members.
