Church Army (Valley Of Hope) in Aberdare

I was in a really dark place, a good few years ago, and I had just come out of prison, I met Ralph Upton, who helped and supported me, and also gave me housing, it's fair to say, I was very hard to work with, pushed people away when they were helping me, I met sue, who was amazing and always believed in me, I met Caroline, who was always there for me whenever I needed her, and I met Paul, who was absolutely fantastic with me, I was self harming regularly, and in a very depressed state, and they never once gave up on me. Every one of them was there whenever I needed someone, they are all absolutely amazing people, I moved on finally from valley of hope as I felt strong enough to do so, and I am now doing really well, with dips now and again, I do not self harm anymore and my alcohol has cut down massively, I have a lot of time for these people, as you never forget who stood next to you when you were at your lowest, I would like to thank each and every one of them for all they done for me, and as a Thank you I am inviting them all to my wedding next year, Thank you all x x
