After using Motive Marine as part of the restoration of our 1950s classic yacht I'm now an extremely unhappy customer left with a bill of £1000s to put things right after a litany of errors. See the state of it from the photos attached. When I raised my complaint I was given excuses, avoidance and even an attempt to blame another supplier for what was clearly their responsibility. You wouldn't a marine engineer to blame a guy who was there to sand and paint when he helps you move the engine into position would you? To be fair to Pete he did offer to put it right but after all the problems and no clear acknowledgment of the mistakes made, some of which were downright dangerous, would you let them anywhere near your engine again in my shoes? Plus when I spoke to others in the industry what I was told removed whatever shred of confidence remained. Best to avoid as I wish I had done.
