Cool Water in St. Neots

Took my new BMW to this car wash today. Had a no. 2 wash inside and out. As soon as I sat back in the drivers seat I immediately noticed a circular scratch that had appeared to be buffed out but made worse in the middle of the mirror I look in hundreds of times a day. I immediately got out and spoke to the manager Rzgar Gareb and called him out in the damage. I work as a civil servant and had no reason to lie. He refused to accept any responsibility. I contacted the police for advice who told me to speak with citizens advice and take the matter to the small claims court as a quick quote from BMW stated it will cost me £99.00 to replace the mirror glass. I told the manager this and asked for the company information. The signs state it has full CCTV but he did. It offer to show me to disprove my statement that they had damaged my car. He scribbled some information on a receipt and wrote the names of the two people who cleaned the car, Nicola and Adrian were their apparent names. He refused to give me a VAT or Company number stating he didn't have one. I run a small business also and know this to be unlawful. After speaking with friends in the area, they all told me I should never have gone there as it has a poor reputation and I can see why. Certainly the most expensive car wash I've ever had and won't be returning there. Will proceed using legal methods as this is appealing practice.
