Desi Spice in Birkenshaw, Bradford

Over the years I have been to numerous Indian restaurants, and Desi Spice is definitely the best. I must have been here over ten times and I have always had a great experience. Food here is always and tasty, the king prawn tikka starters are spectacular!
I do have a couple minor complaints: the service can be a bit slow at times, and the restaurant area is quite small so the tables are very close together. On the other hand, staff are very polite and obliging. I recommend Desi Spice if you like Indian food.

We've ordered takeaway food several times, never a disappointment. Food is always piping hot and really good.
On a Friday or Saturday evening I'd suggest calling 20-30 before your ideal eating time as there's always some waiting time.
The cooks are friendly and the staff are easy going. Recommended!

Always have a takeaway night on a Friday and always go to Desi Spice for a curry. Great food for a great price! Lamb chops are spicy and succulent, and the chicken keema garlic balti is amazing!

Friendly delivery guy, food was hot and plenty of it. One of the best curries I've had a long time, excellent value for money.

Went to desi spice on Friday night and was really surprised. We had a 2 course meal for 2 for under £35. I had the chicken tikka mal, creamy and delicious. My friend had the lamb rogan, really good and full of textures. We loved the BYO, we were able to take our own wine and save money on the cost of drinks. Had a lovely time, I would totally recommend this place!

Our food was undercooked, my husband's chicken had blood in it. We complained and won't be returning.

We booked a table for 2 on recommendation by a 'regular'. Loved the intimate, cosy atmosphere. Lovely food and good service, all at a reasonable price.
Fish masala and spicy marinated grilled chicken were excellent, cake and ice cream with absolutely delicious. Best grill ever! Great value, recommended.
